Sporting Opportunities have teamed up with the Sports Leaders Award to offer people the chance to get qualified in Sports Leadership before heading overseas on an exciting volunteer sports coaching project. The courses can also contribute towards getting extra UCAS points to help you on your way to university. With over 100 centres around the UK, it is easy to get qualified and start planning that trip overseas.



Get Your Day Certificate in Sports Leadership
The Day Certificate in Sports Leadership has been designed to support adults in a variety of different settings including community groups, primary and secondary schools, uniformed organisations and sports clubs that are affiliated to the local authority.

Research undertaken by Sports Leaders UK suggests that many learners who have already been engaged with the Day Certificate in Sports Leadership now feel far more confident and assertive in their role as a Sports Leader.

It is our aim to eventually use our Sporting Opportunities International Volunteers to get kids in Africa, Asia and South America trained in Sports Leadership, giving them brighter prospects for a future career in sport.
